9 weeks...

gavin is two months old! i am having so much fun watching him develop more with every day that passes. he is smiling so much! he almost always has a smile on his handsome face. he is discovering his voice...he loves to make sounds and have you repeat them back. gavin is such an alert baby. no matter where he is, he loves to sit quietly, with big eyes, and take in his surroundings. he is also getting better at holding his head up. lately, his favorite thing to do during playtime is look at his reflection. he will laugh and giggle at the site of himself. it is too funny and cute to watch him.

7 weeks...

it has been 7 weeks tomorrow since gavin was born. it's so hard to believe! this means i must return to work in one week. : ( i have enjoyed my time being just mommy so much. here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

i can't believe gavin is one month old today! how time has flown by.

for the occasion, i put him in his daygown he wore home from the hospital. he preferred to be in his diaper. as a result, he wanted to fight me. laying on daddy's baby blanket. he would not part with his beloved pacifier.

My First Month
